Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Ground Staff to join our team in Chandigarh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations at the airport, ensuring the safety and comfort of our passengers, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist passengers at the check-in counter, boarding gate, and baggage claim area
Check passengers' tickets, passports, and other necessary documents
Provide information and assistance to passengers regarding flight schedules, delays, and other travel-related inquiries
Ensure the safety and security of passengers by following all airport and airline regulations
Handle and resolve any customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
Assist with the boarding process and help passengers find their seats
Coordinate with other ground staff, flight crew, and airport personnel to ensure smooth operations
Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the aircraft
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic setting
Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills
Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds
Knowledge of local languages and customs is an asset
Must be willing to undergo a background
