Job Summary

Plan, organize, and control manufacturing processes to meet production targets. Maintain and ensure the effective utilization of production resources, including capital equipment and human resources.

Primary Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate the activities of staff including training, employee development, performance evaluation, hiring decisions, and the establishment of goals and performance objectives for assigned department.
Provide continual evaluation of department processes, methods, and activities to assure the most effective use of resources and equipment.
Manage budget and expenditures.
Manage the design and implement the tooling and processing to manufacture products in a cost-effective manner.
Qualify vendors to manufacture NOV products if required.
Implement cost saving projects for continuous improvement.
Provide other NOV facilities with technical assistance on production.
Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.





Facility/Group Specific Responsibilities
Responsible to managing various Manufacturing activities such as Product Assembly, Manufacturing, Industrial engineering.
Analyzes work force utilization, facility layout and operational data, recommends methods of improving team member efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities.
Creation and implementation of best practice manufacturing vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational excellence.
Develop manufacturing process for recent products and work towards product transition qualification. Initiate Kaizen, 5S & process improvement processes in production department.
Assure maximum utilization of resources to control the key variable areas within the budget of expendable supplies, non-expendable supplies, direct hours, and indirect hours.
