Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced HTL Engineer (Hot Runner & Tooling – Plastic Moulding) to oversee and optimize plastic moulding operations. The role involves handling tooling, hot runner systems, process improvements, troubleshooting, and ensuring production efficiency with high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day moulding operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
Handle HTL (Hot Runner, Tooling, and Logistics) systems for plastic injection moulding.
Carry out mould setup, changeovers, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of moulds and hot runner systems.
Collaborate with the design and tooling team for mould validation, trials, and improvements.
Monitor process parameters, optimize cycle time, and reduce rejection rates.
Maintain documentation of process settings, mould history, and maintenance reports.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices in moulding operations.




Provide technical support to production teams and mentor junior engineers/operators.

Required Skills & Competencies
Robust knowledge of plastic injection moulding processes and hot runner systems.
Hands-on experience in mould assembly, disassembly, and maintenance.
Expertise in troubleshooting process & tooling-related issues.
Familiarity with mould design concepts, CAD drawings, and toolroom practices.
Valuable understanding of quality standards (ISO/TS, Six Sigma, etc.) in plastic components.
Solid problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work in cross-functional teams and meet deadlines.

Qualifications
Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Mechanical, Plastics Engineering, Tool Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in HTL / Tooling / Plastic Injection Moulding operations.
