Work Responsibilities:
â Perform surgeries for cancer treatment in organs like breast, GI tract, head & neck,
etc.
â Manage pre and post-operative care of oncology patients.
â Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards.
â Ensure surgical margins and tissue handling for biopsy.
â Counsel patients and discuss surgical outcomes.
Types of Surgeries:
â Mastectomy, Lumpectomy (Breast)
â Colectomy, Whipple (GI)
â Neck dissection, Laryngectomy (Head & Neck)
â Radical Hysterectomy (Gynae)
â Lobectomy, Esophagectomy (Thoracic)
Qualification: MCh/DNB Surgical Oncology or MS with oncology experience
