Responsibilities
Perform cataract surgeries using advanced phacoemulsification (phaco) techniques with precision and safety.
Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose a broad spectrum of ocular diseases, including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and refractive errors.
Utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment such as OCT, slit-lamp biomicroscopy, tonometry, and retinal imaging for accurate assessment and monitoring.
Manage all outpatient department (OPD) procedures, including patient consultations, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely medical records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Provide pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients, ensuring optimal recovery and minimizing complications.
Collaborate with other medical specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated, holistic patient care.




Stay current with advancements in ophthalmic surgery, clinical research, and evidence-based practices through continuous career development.
Participate in hospital quality improvement initiatives and contribute to clinical audits and patient safety protocols.

Requirements
MBBS degree with postgraduate qualification in Ophthalmology (D.O. or DNB in Ophthalmology).
Minimum of 1 year of post-qualification clinical experience in a hospital or specialty eye care setting.
Proven expertise in performing phacoemulsification (phaco) cataract surgeries with demonstrated surgical proficiency and safety records.
In-depth knowledge of clinical and diagnostic methodologies specific to ophthalmology, including advanced imaging and functional testing.
Solid understanding of ocular anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain
