Responsibilities
Conduct thorough physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic assessments for infants, children, and adolescents.
Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions, including respiratory infections, gastrointestinal disorders, developmental delays, and chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management, lifestyle modifications, and referrals to specialists when necessary.
Provide evidence-based preventive care, including routine well-child visits, developmental screenings, and age-appropriate vaccinations.




Educate parents and caregivers on child health, nutrition, safety, behavioral development, and developmental milestones.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare specialists to coordinate comprehensive care.
Participate in hospital quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and continuing medical education programs.
Respond to on-call emergencies and provide timely care during urgent pediatric health events.
Contribute to pediatric health outreach programs and community wellness initiatives.

Requirements
MBBS degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics (MD/DM in Pediatrics or DCH).
Valid and active registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council.
