This role would involve:
Continuously monitoring newly identified vulnerabilities.
Analyzing and prioritizing risks based on severity and business impact.
Coordinating remediation efforts with relevant teams.
Improving overall vulnerability visibility.
Refining scanning and reporting processes.
Driving proactive measures to strengthen the organization's security posture over time.
Data Security
NEU has implemented Varonis Hybrid along with Managed Detection and Response (MDR) capabilities and needs a specialist to further enhance its data security framework.
Responsibilities include:
Identifying, classifying, and organizing sensitive or critical data across the workplace.
Cleaning up redundant, outdated, or improperly stored data.
Tightening access controls and reducing unnecessary exposure.
Enabling and fine-tuning Data Loss Prevention (DLP) capabilities.
Ensuring sensitive information is adequately protected and monitored against unauthorized access or data exfiltration.
