Position Summary
A leading private tertiary-care hospital in the Caribbean Region is seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist to join its busy and well-established Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine practice. The successful candidate will be a highly skilled clinician with demonstrated expertise in both the diagnostic and therapeutic management of gastrointestinal and hepatology disorders. You will work in a cooperative, multidisciplinary environment supported by a modern, fully equipped GI practice, while enjoying an exceptional work-life balance in a beautiful island setting.

Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive consultative and procedural gastroenterology care to a diverse patient population.
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, polypectomy, dilation, and management of GI bleeding.
Diagnose, treat,



and manage acute and chronic gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders, including complex cases.
Manage liver, pancreatic, biliary, and inflammatory bowel diseases.
Develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans.
Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists to ensure integrated, patient-centered care.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation in line with international clinical standards.
Contribute to quality assurance initiatives, clinical audits, and evidence-based practice.
Provide patient education and preventive care counseling.
Supervise and mentor junior doctors and clinical staff as required.
Engage in continuing medical education and professional development activities.

Qualifications
Board Certification in Gastroenterology (required) with an active medical license in positive standing.
MD / DNB / DM (Gastroenterology) or equivalent from a rec
