Job DescriptionWe are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our growing offshore engineering team for a leading US-based client, in Bengaluru. You will own team deliverables end to end, manage team performance, strengthen the client relationship, and identify opportunities to grow the engagement.
NResponsibilities:
NDelivery Ownership

Own end-to-end delivery of team commitments – planning, execution, quality, and timelines across sprints and releases.

Anticipate delivery risks and dependencies;
proactively communicatestatus, escalations, and mitigation plans to client and internal stakeholders.
NTeam Leadership & Performance
N
Serve as the direct reporting manager for the offshore engineering team in Bengaluru.
N
Manage team performance: set goals, provide regular feedback, run performance reviews, and build growth plans for team members.
NClient Relationship & Presence
N
Build trusted day-to-day relationships with client engineering leaders and product stakeholders.
N
Represent the team in client forums – sprint reviews, roadmap discussions,



and leadership check-ins.
NBusiness Growth

Identify and shape opportunities to expand the engagement – current workstreams, additional teams, or recent capability areas.

Partner with account leadership on proposals, staffing plans, and account growth strategy.
NRequired Skills & Experience:
N
15+ years of overall software engineering experience, including 3+ years managing engineering teams.
N
Strong hands-on background in backend technologies, primarily Java and/or Python – able to review designs, guide technical decisions, and engage credibly in technical discussions.
N
Positive working exposure to the AWS stack (e.G., EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB/RDS, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, CloudWatch) and cloud-native architectures.

Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration – Docker and Kubernetes (EKS or equivalent).

Solid conceptual understanding of agentic AI –
