Key Responsibilities
Assembly, fitting and maintenance of progressive, compound, bending and blanking dies.
Fitting of die components with accurate clearances, alignment and matching.
Die spotting, trial assembly and correction of fitting issues.
Reading and understanding tool drawings and component drawings.
Grinding, filing, lapping and hand-fitting of die components as required.
Support in die trials, troubleshooting and modifications.
Ensure proper die quality, accuracy and smooth operation.

Required Skills
Valuable knowledge of sheet metal press dies and progressive dies.
Ability to use vernier, micrometer, height gauge and other measuring instruments.
Knowledge of fitting tools, grinding and basic machining operations.
Ability to identify and rectify die-related problems.
Valuable understanding of tolerances, clearances and die assembly.

Preferred: Experience with automotive/industrial sheet metal dies and press tools.
