Job Responsibilities:
Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQ, and material estimates based on drawings and specifications.
Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to identify quantities and requirements.
Prepare and verify contractor/vendor bills and measurements.
Conduct site measurements and maintain measurement sheets.
Monitor project quantities, material consumption, and variations.
Assist in preparing rate analysis and cost estimates.
Coordinate with the site engineering and project teams regarding quantities and billing.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly quantity and cost reports.
Maintain proper documentation of BOQs, measurements, bills, and project records.
Support the project team in controlling costs and minimising material wastage.
RequirementsDiploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or related qualification.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction.
Valuable knowledge of BOQ, quantity estimation, rate analysis, and billing.
Ability to read and understand civil/structural drawings.
Positive communication and coordination skills.
Working knowledge of MS Excel and construction-related software.
Willingness to work at the Thondebhavi project site when required.
Preferred SkillsKnowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel.
Experience in residential/commercial construction projects.
Knowledge of subcontractor billing and reconciliation will be an advantage.
