To maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness within the dark store and its immediate surroundings, ensuring a secure, spotless, and sanitary setting for both staff and grocery inventory.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Cleaning: Sweep, mop, and dust the entire store floor, packing stations, aisles, and storage racks to ensure zero dust accumulation.
Sanitization: Regularly clean and sanitize washrooms, staff break areas, and high-touch surfaces throughout the shift.
Waste Management: Collect, separate, and safely dispose of daily operational waste, ensuring garbage bins are emptied and washed regularly.
Surrounding Upkeep: Keep the main entrance, loading/unloading zones, and immediate exterior of the store clean, presentable, and free of clutter or debris.
Vigilance: Promptly report any maintenance issues, water leaks, or pest-related concerns to the Store Manager to prevent hygiene risks.
Requirements
Hardworking, punctual, and highly reliable.
Physically active and capable of handling standard daily cleaning tasks.
Basic understanding of how to use cleaning supplies and maintain personal hygiene.
