Key Responsibilities
Physical Security & Surveillance
Safeguard plant premises, raw materials, finished goods, and warehouses.
Monitor CCTV systems, access control, and perimeter security.
Conduct regular patrolling and inspections across production, storage, utilities, and dispatch areas.
Incident Prevention & Emergency Response
Identify potential risks, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activities.
Respond promptly to fire incidents, theft, accidents, and unauthorized access.
Maintain incident registers, prepare investigation reports, and recommend corrective actions.
Manpower & Vendor Coordination
Supervise security guards, shift rosters, and deployment at key locations.
Conduct training and security awareness programs for guards and staff.
Coordinate with third-party security agencies and ensure adherence to SOPs.
Compliance & Audits




Ensure compliance with plant security policies, statutory requirements, and ISO / OHSAS standards.
Support internal and external audits related to security and safety.
Logistics & Material Movement Control
Monitor inbound and outbound movement of materials, finished goods, and contractor vehicles.
Verify gate passes, challans, and material issue/return documents.
Implement and monitor Integrated Truck Management System (ITMS) to prevent pilferage (where applicable).
Liaison & Reporting
Maintain solid liaison with local police, fire department, and emergency services.
Prepare and submit Daily Security Reports (DSR) and Monthly Review Reports to management.Role & responsibilities
