Key Responsibilities
Accountable for Planning and reporting of financial results for an entity or cluster of smaller entities, with commentary including PL, balance sheet and cash flow for its accuracy and completeness.
Manage delivery of a complete, accurate and timely set of IFRS reporting (corporate reporting) for an entity or cluster of smaller entities.
Manage Plan, Forecast process, Data collection, consolidation, data upload. Work closely with business.
Manage all aspects of the financial month end review process, reporting requirements, facilitating month end meetings, maintaining risk register coordinating with all external stakeholders.
Drive variance analysis for PL (e.g. Operating expenses, Margins and Profitability etc.) and Balance Sheet, review financial information against historical run rates and future growth plans.
Participate contribute into business reviews meetings as appropriate
Own the Entity PL including write off / back decisions
Ensure entities results are fully compliant with all relevant accounting standards, current best practice and any other regulations
Ensure business complies with all aspects of the internal / external financial control setting
Sign-off of statutory results with Finance Director.
Support and is responsible for the inputs to the external and internal financial audits
Cooperate with our tax providers review of declarations for VAT, CIT, other taxes.
Why you
Basic Qualifications
Accounting degree / qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
5+ years of post-qualification experience or post degree
Experience in Financial Reporting, Planning, Finance controlling or Audit Firm
Practical experience with IFRS
Experience of working in a Control / SOX workplace
Previous experience of SAP preferred
Developed analytical skills
Robust communication and organization skills
Team management and leadership skills
Outside of the box thinking and problem-solving skills
