The Site Supervisor – Civil Construction is responsible for supervising daily site activities, managing labour, and ensuring construction work is executed as per drawings, quality standards, and safety requirements. The role focuses on on-ground coordination and productivity to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Key Responsibilities
Site Supervision
Supervise daily construction activities at site.
Ensure work is carried out as per drawings, instructions, and specifications.
Monitor progress of ongoing tasks and report status to engineers.
Labor Management
Manage and allocate work to laborers, masons, and subcontract workers.
Ensure proper utilization of manpower.
Maintain discipline and productivity at site.
Work Execution
Ensure correct execution of:
Concrete works
Masonry and plastering
Finishing activities
Follow instructions from Site Engineer/Project Engineer.
Material Handling
Check availability of materials required for daily work.
Coordinate with stores for issuing materials.
Monitor usage and reduce wastage.
Quality Monitoring




Ensure workmanship meets basic quality standards.
Report defects or issues to the Site Engineer.
Assist in implementing corrective actions.
Safety Compliance
Enforce basic safety practices at site.
Ensure workers use PPE (helmets, gloves, etc.).
Report unsafe conditions or incidents.
Measurements & Records
Assist in basic measurements of work done.
Maintain daily records of:
Work progress
Labor attendance
Material usage
Coordination
Coordinate with:
Site Engineers
Contractors and subcontractors
Storekeepers
Ensure smooth workflow and avoid delays.
