Roles and Responsibilities :

The Practice Leader – Pharma is responsible for Pan India - building, leading, and scaling the Pharmaceuticals & Life Sciences Liability Practice . The role combines strategic leadership, product & solution development, P&L; ownership with Client & Intermediary engagement, with a focus on sustainable growth, profitability, and market leadership in the pharma and life sciences sector.

This is a strategic leadership role requiring deep industry knowledge, solid technical knowledge and commercial acumen.

Job Requirements :
Minimum 10 years of work experience with Insurer / Broker/ or similar with significant exposure to Pharmaceuticals & Life Sciences Liability Insurance
Strategy & Practice Development:




Define and execute the overall strategy for the Pharma & Life Sciences practice, aligned with organizational objectives.
Work closely with RI teams, legal, actuarial, claims, and reinsurance partners to ensure robustness and competitiveness.
Develop product specific frameworks and go-to-market strategies.
Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging risks to keep the practice future-ready.
Identify and allocate priority areas/ target accounts among team and provide strategic guidance in chasing/ converting/ generating business from Pharma allocated accounts
