12–18 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting within fertilizer manufacturing. N
Minimum 5 years in a plant finance leadership role. N
Experience in fertilizer, chemicals, petrochemicals, process manufacturing, or similar industries preferred. N
Robust exposure to costaccounting, plant operations, inventory management, and statutory compliance. N
nKey Responsibilities
N1. Financial Accounting &Reporting;

Maintain accuratebooks of accounts for the manufacturing unit. N
Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing. N
Prepare plant-level Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and MIS reports. N
Reconcile plant accounts with corporate finance. N
Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies. N
n2. Cost Accounting
N
n
Maintain standardcosting and actual product costing for composite fertilizers. N
Analyze: N
Raw material consumption N
Utility costsn
Energy costs N
Conversion costsn
Manufacturing overheads N
Conduct variance analysis against budgets and standards. N
Determine product-wise profitability. N
Monitor production yields and process losses. N
Support pricing decisions through detailed cost analysis. N

Ensure inventory valuation complies with applicable accounting standards. N
Conduct periodic physical stock verification. N

Prepare annual plant budgets. N
Develop operating expenditure (OPEX) and capital expenditure (CAPEX) budgets. N
