Job DescriptionCore Responsibilities
n1. Financial Management & Controls
n
n
Oversee the preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards (IndAS / IFRS / Local GAAP).n
Monitor cash flow, optimize working capital cycles, and manage fund allocation across various engineering projects.n
Implement and strengthen rigorous internal financial controls (IFC) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).n
n2. Taxation & Statutory Compliance
n
n
Ensure 100% accurate and timely compliance with all direct and indirect taxation (GST, TDS, Corporate Income Tax, Customs, etc.).n
Lead and manage statutory audits, internal audits, and tax assessments smoothly.n
Keep abreast of changing fiscal laws, assessing their impact on the engineering business.n
n3. Project & Cost Control
n
n
Partner with project heads to review Project Costing, Variance Analysis, and Budget vs. Actual reports.n
Review contract terms, commercial bids, and vendor agreements to mitigate financial risks.n
Oversee inventory valuation, fixed asset management, and depreciation accounting specific to plant and machinery.n
n4. Team Leadership & CFO Support

Mentor, guide, and evaluate the 3-member finance team to ensure high accuracy in day-to-day accounting functions (AP/AR, payroll, invoicing).n
Assist the CFO in preparing Board presentations, annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.n
nCandidate Profile
nEducation & Experience
n
n
Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) / CMA / MBA in Finance.n
Experience: 15+ years of post-qualification experience, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial rolen
nTechnical & Soft Skills
n
n
Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of project accounting, percentage-of-completion methods, and job costing.n
Systems: Advanced proficiency in ERP software (e.g.,
