Assists the R&D; team in developing new products and improving current products;
Is responsible for the drafting of new products and changing existing products;
Produces 2D and 3D designs in accordance with:
> - customer Ìs specifications requirements (given by R&D; engineers)
>
> - supplier Ìs requirements (to ensure production feasibility)
>
> - internal ideas: R&D; team, Sales managers, Front offices (controlled by R&D; engineers)
>
>
Gathers all necessary information (material, dimension, forms) and indicates them on the product’s or project’s design;
Is responsible for the documentation in relation to design activities:
ensures proper housekeeping of the R&D; database by implementing and maintaining fitted methods of documentation and by constantly updating the software database;
Performs any other additional task required by his line manager within the bounds of his acquired or potential skills. (e.g., follow up on purchase from prototype parts; follow up on SAP orders, easy calculation);
Has to respect the company procedures;
Attends training to improve his technical skills.
Requirements
Education: Engineering Graduate / Postgraduate
Have valuable technical knowledge in mechanical design;
Have valuable organizational skills
Extensive knowledge in design with the 3D CAD system SIEMENS NX.
