Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Key Responsibilities:
Configure, integrate, and validate infotainment and telematics systems for current vehicle programs.
Perform verification and validation (V&V;) at component, subsystem, and vehicle levels (bench & in-vehicle testing).
Validate telematics features including eCall / NG eCall , OTA updates, remote vehicle functions, GPS/GNSS, Wi-Fi hotspot, and cellular connectivity (4G/5G).
Conduct testing and analysis of in-vehicle networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) ensuring proper ECU communication.
Execute functional, system, and regression testing for infotainment and telematics domains.
Perform diagnostic testing including UDS services, DTC analysis, and log interpretation.
Analyze logs using tools and debug issues related to connectivity, network communication, and infotainment applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as telematics backend, cloud, mobile app teams, diagnostics, and validation teams.
Validate infotainment features: Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, USB, Media, Tuner, HMI, Navigation, Voice Assistants.
Perform end-to-end telematics testing, including vehicle-to-cloud and mobile app integration.
Track, log, and report defects using defect management tools and work closely with suppliers and development teams.
Support automation initiatives for infotainment and telematics test cases where applicable.

General Requirements
Required Skills:
Robust experience in CAN tools: CANalyzer, CANoe.
Knowledge of CAPL scripting and Python for test automation and tool interfacing.
Valuable understanding of UDS Diagnostics (ISO 14229).
Experience in telematics protocols and connectivity:
TCP/IP, MQTT, HTTP/HTTPS
Cellular communication (LTE/5G)
Hands-on experience with ADB (Android Debug Bridge) and Android-based infotainment systems.
Familiarity with OTA (Over-The-Air) update mechanisms and validation.
Working knowledge of GNSS, SIM/eSIM, and vehicle tracking systems.
Experience with log analysis tools and debugging techniques.
Knowledge of A2B, Ethernet, or Automotive communication protocols is a plus.
Familiarity with backend/cloud validation concepts (AWS/Azure IoT is an advantage).
Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA.
Good understanding of infotainment architecture and telematics control units (TCU).
