nRole: Head Direct Sales
nJob location : Head Office, Chennai
nThe Head of Direct Sales will lead the end-to-end sales strategy and execution for the fumed silica product line, focusing on direct customer engagement across industries such as pharmaceuticals, adhesives and sealants, coatings and construction,. This role demands a solid blend of technical knowledge, strategic thinking, and hands-on sales experience in B2B segment.
nDirect Sales Strategy & Execution
nDevelop and implement direct sales strategies to achieve revenue and margin targets.
nIdentify and prioritize high-potential customer segments and applications.
nDrive penetration in key accounts and expand market share.
nCustomer Relationship Management
nBuild and nurture long-term relationships with manufacturers, formulators, and end-users.
nConduct regular customer visits and presentations




nResolve customer issues swiftly and ensure high satisfaction and retention.
nMarket Development & Intelligence
nAnalyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine sales approach.
nCollaborate with marketing and product teams to develop targeted campaigns.
nTechnical Sales Enablement
nProvide application-specific guidance on fumed silica usage
nLiaise with technical service teams to support customer trials and product customization.
nTrain internal sales teams on product features and value propositions.
nTeam Leadership & Reporting
nLead and mentor a team of regional sales managers.
nSet KPIs, monitor performance, and report progress to senior leadership.
nEnsure CRM systems and sales processes are effectively utilized.
nQualification : Bachelor's/Master's in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
nMBA/PG in Management will be an added advantage in addition to Bachelo
