nPosition Overview
nWe are seeking an experienced Admissions Counsellor to join our team in Hyderabad. This is a key role combining student counselling with university relationship management and business development. The successful candidate will guide students through the admissions process, establish institutional partnerships, and contribute directly to the organisation's growth objectives.
nKey Responsibilities

Counsel students and parents on higher-education opportunities in India and abroad, advising on suitable universities, courses, and career pathwaysn




Manage the complete admissions process — from initial enquiry through documentation, application submission, and offern
Respond to enquiries across phone, WhatsApp, email, social media, and walk-ins, and convert them into confirmed admissionsn
Approach universities and admission partners to establish relationships and formalise MOUs and aggregator partnershipsn
Represent EduGateGulf at education fairs, seminars, webinars, and promotional eventsn
Support business development, digital marketing, and lead-generation activitiesn
Maintain accurate student records and pipeline data within the CRMn
Achieve monthly counselling, conversion, and admission targetsn

nRequirements

Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred)n
2–5 years of experience in study-abroad and Indian university admissionsn
Excellent English communication skillsn
Robust counselling, sales, and interpersonal skillsn
Sound knowledge of admission procedures, visa processes,
