Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and file UK Self-Assessment Tax Returns for individuals, sole traders, landlords, and directors.
Calculate tax liabilities and ensure compliance with HMRC regulations.
Prepare year-end statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
Perform account reconciliations and post year-end adjustments (accruals, prepayments, depreciation, etc.).
Communicate with clients to obtain financial information and resolve queries.
Maintain accurate working papers and ensure timely completion of assignments.
Support bookkeeping, VAT, and other accounting tasks as required.
Requirements:
Experience in UK Personal Tax and Year-End Accounts.
Knowledge of HMRC compliance and UK accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting/tax software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Iris, TaxCalc, or similar.
Robust attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
