Job Description – IT Engineer

Position: IT Engineer
Department: Information Technology (IT)
Location: Ernakulam
Reporting To: Operations Engineer / Project Engineer

Job Summary

The IT Manager is responsible for managing IT infrastructure, retail outlet automation systems, networking, and field instrumentation to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations across all sites.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain ATG systems, controllers, probes, and Back Office connectivity.
Support Rate Display Units (RDU), handheld terminals, and fuel price updates.
Monitor IT infrastructure, structured cabling, networking, servers, and IT racks.
Inspect field instrumentation, cable routing, gland connections, and electrical panels.
Maintain automation systems including IRIS, NEO HOS, EDC, AUTO RSP, APOS, MPD, and VSAT.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, network,



and automation issues with minimum downtime.
Ensure preventive maintenance, documentation, vendor coordination, and compliance with company and safety standards.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, networking, or retail outlet automation.

Skills
Knowledge of ATG, MPD, APOS, networking, and fuel station automation.
Solid troubleshooting, communication, and vendor management skills.
Familiarity with IS standards, preventive maintenance, and IT asset management.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
