The Billing Executive is responsible for generating accurate invoices, managing billing processes, handling customer transactions, and ensuring proper financial documentation. The role requires attention to detail, coordination with sales and accounts teams, and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities1. Billing & Invoicing
Generate accurate bills/invoices for customers.
Ensure proper pricing, discounts, and tax calculations (GST).
Verify billing data before finalizing invoices.
Payment Handling
Process cash, card, UPI, and online payments.
Ensure accurate recording of all transactions.
Handle customer billing queries and resolve discrepancies.
POS & System Management
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently.
Maintain billing records in ERP/software.
Ensure system accuracy and report technical issues if any.
Daily Reconciliation
Perform daily cash and billing reconciliation.
Match sales reports with collected payments.
Report any mismatch or shortage immediately.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain proper records of invoices and transactions.
Prepare daily/weekly billing reports.
Support accounts team with required data.
Customer Service
Provide quick and qualified service at the billing counter.
Handle customer queries politely and efficiently.
Ensure a smooth checkout experience.
Compliance
Follow company policies and financial procedures.
Ensure adherence to GST and billing regulations.
Required Skills
Knowledge of billing software/POS systems
Basic accounting and GST knowledge
Solid numerical accuracy and attention to detail
Good communication and customer handling skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma (Commerce preferred)
1–3 years of experience in billing/cash handling/retail/F&B;
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
