Roles & Responsibilities
Perform quality control inspections and maintain rigorous shipyard QC procedures.
Conduct dimensional, visual, and specialized inspections on welding and fabrication work.
Coordinate effectively with production and inspection teams to ensure compliance.
Maintain, review, and complete relevant QC documentation, inspection reports, and quality procedures.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a Shipyard, Marine, or Fabrication industry. Candidates with direct shipyard or marine industry experience are highly preferred.
Technical Knowledge:
Practical knowledge of shipbuilding and ship repair processes.
Robust understanding of welding, fabrication, dimensional, and visual inspection standards.
Familiarity with industry-specific QC documentation and reporting standards.
