Job Description – Stock Manager

Position: Store Manager

Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain accurate records of all inventory, stock receipts, and stock issues.
Monitor daily stock movement and ensure proper stock availability.
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.
Maintain stock registers and update inventory records in the ERP/stock management system.
Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and preservation of materials to prevent damage or loss.
Coordinate with the Procurement, Operations, and Accounts departments regarding stock requirements and inventory reports.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports for management.
Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and initiate replenishment requests.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and warehouse procedures.




Maintain proper documentation for inward and outward stock transactions.
Supervise warehouse staff and ensure smooth warehouse operations.

Required Skills
Knowledge of inventory and warehouse management.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/Inventory Management Software.
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
Valuable communication and coordination abilities.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Qualification & Experience
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in any discipline.
2–5 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or stock management (preferred).
