Visual Arts Teacher

Role:
To teach Visual Arts for Primary and Lower Secondary students (Grades 1–8) in line with the international curriculum, fostering creativity, artistic skills, critical thinking, and visual expression through engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Visual Art lessons aligned with the International curriculum.
Guide students in drawing, painting, sculpture, crafts, and design activities.
Encourage creativity, originality, and individual artistic expression.
Assess student work, provide constructive feedback, and maintain academic records.
Organise art exhibitions, displays, and creative school events.
Maintain art materials, studios, and ensure safety standards are followed.
Collaborate with academic and pastoral teams to support student development.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and achievements.

Qualifications & Experience
Graduate/Postgraduate Degree or Diploma in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or a related field.
Teaching experience in Cambridge, IB, CBSE,



or ICSE curriculum schools preferred.
Strong artistic, classroom management, and lesson-planning skills.
