Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Fashion Designing Faculty to join our academic team. The candidate will be responsible for delivering practical and theoretical training in fashion designing and helping students develop industry-relevant skills.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct engaging theory and practical classes in Fashion Designing. Teach topics such as fashion illustration, garment construction, pattern making, textiles, sewing, fashion styling and design fundamentals. Provide hands-on training and guide students through practical projects. Develop lesson plans, assignments, practical activities and assessments. Monitor student performance and provide constructive feedback. Encourage creativity, innovation and skilled design practices.
Maintain academic records and support departmental activities. Stay updated with current fashion trends, techniques and industry practices.
Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Fashion Designing/Fashion Technology, Apparel Design or a related field.
Candidates with relevant industry experience will be preferred. Freshers with strong subject knowledge and communication skills can also apply.
Skills Required
Positive communication and teaching skills. Strong knowledge of fashion designing and garment-related practical work. Ability to handle students and conduct practical sessions. Creative approach and passion for teaching. * Basic computer knowledge is an advantage. Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
