Deliver products safely and on time to customers according to the assigned route.
Load and unload products carefully to prevent damage during transportation.
Verify delivery items against invoices or delivery challans before dispatch.
Obtain customer signatures or proof of delivery after each successful delivery.
Collect payments, cheques, or documents from customers whenever required and submit them to the Accounts Department.
Inspect the assigned vehicle daily and report any maintenance or repair requirements.
Keep the vehicle clean and ensure all required documents (license, insurance, registration, pollution certificate, etc.) are valid and available.
Follow all traffic rules and company safety guidelines while driving.
Plan productive delivery routes to minimize travel time and fuel consumption.
Coordinate with the warehouse, dispatch, and customer service teams regarding delivery schedules.
Report delivery delays, accidents, vehicle breakdowns, or customer issues immediately.
Assist with loading, unloading, and other logistics-related tasks when required.
Maintain daily delivery logs, vehicle logbooks, fuel records, and expense records.
