Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and dedicated Dental Assistant to support the Dentist in providing quality patient care and to ensure the smooth functioning of the Dental Department.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Dentist during dental examinations, procedures, and treatments.
Prepare the dental chair, instruments, materials, and equipment before procedures.
Assist with patient preparation and provide necessary support during treatment.
Clean, disinfect, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments as per infection control protocols.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the dental treatment area.
Prepare and maintain dental materials and consumables required for procedures.
Ensure availability and proper storage of dental instruments and materials.
Assist in maintaining patient records and dental treatment documentation.
Support appointment coordination and patient flow when required.
Follow hospital policies, infection control procedures, and safety guidelines.
Report equipment issues, shortage of materials, or other concerns to the concerned person.
Perform other duties assigned by the Dentist / Department Head / Management.
Qualification
Diploma / Certificate in Dental Assisting or relevant qualification preferred.
Candidates with relevant experience in a dental clinic or hospital will be preferred.
Freshers with a relevant qualification may also apply.
Required Skills
Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic knowledge of dental instruments and procedures.
Knowledge of sterilization and infection control practices.
Positive patient-handling skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Responsible, punctual, and willing to learn.
