Key Responsibilities
Dispense medications accurately as per valid prescriptions and hospital protocols.
Verify prescriptions for dosage, drug interactions, contraindications, and allergies.
Ensure secure storage, handling, and dispensing of medicines, including high-alert and oncology medications.
Maintain inventory, stock levels, expiry tracking, and proper documentation.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for timely medication management.
Counsel patients and caregivers regarding medication usage, dosage, storage, and possible side effects.
Maintain pharmacy records in accordance with statutory and hospital requirements.
Ensure compliance with Pharmacy Act, NABH standards, infection control, and medication safety policies.
Assist in procurement, stock verification, and periodic audits.
Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings.
Eligibility
D.Pharm or B.Pharm from a recognized institution.
Valid registration with the State Pharmacy Council is mandatory.
Freshers as well as experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
Experience in a hospital or oncology pharmacy will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
Valuable knowledge of pharmaceutical products and dispensing practices.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with Hospital Information Systems (HIS) is preferred.
Ability to work in rotational shifts and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
