Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Machinist with 2–3 years of experience in machining and manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for operating machine-shop equipment, producing components as per engineering drawings, and maintaining required quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and set up Lathe, Milling, Drilling and Grinding machines.
Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances.
Perform machining operations as per required specifications.
Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer and Bore Gauge.
Check dimensions and quality of machined components.
Ensure components are manufactured within specified tolerances.
Identify and correct machining defects.
Maintain machines, tools and work area properly.
Complete assigned production work within the required timeline.
Follow company safety procedures and work instructions.
Requirements
ITI in Machinist / Turner / Fitter or relevant technical qualification.
2–3 years of relevant experience in machining/manufacturing.
Positive knowledge of Lathe and Milling operations.
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Knowledge of measuring instruments and tolerances.
Positive attention to detail and quality awareness.
Experience in heavy machinery / industrial manufacturing will be preferred.
