Job Summary:
Responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting, and repair of passenger and commercial lifts to ensure protected and reliable operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, service, and maintain elevators and lift systems.
Perform preventive and general maintenance of lifts.
Identify and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system faults.
Check lift doors, sensors, limit switches, ARD, batteries, safety circuits, and other components.
Attend customer complaints and breakdown calls promptly.
Carry out replacement and adjustment of faulty components.
Perform lift inspection and testing after service/repair.
Maintain service reports and update work status.
Follow all safety procedures and company standards.
Coordinate with engineers and customers during service and repair activities.
Ensure the lift is operating safely before handing it over to the customer.
Skills Required:
Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
Knowledge of elevator components and troubleshooting.
Ability to read basic wiring diagrams.
Positive problem-solving skills.
Customer handling and communication skills.
Willingness to travel to customer sites.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualification:
ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related field.
Experience in elevator/lift service is preferred.
Freshers with relevant technical knowledge can also be considered.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
Ramapuram, Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
