[11] Android Automotive Developer

Experience : 5+ years in Android development

Location: Pune Office

Key Responsibilities
Design and build advanced applications for the Android Automotive OS (AAOS) platform
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver recent in-vehicle features
Develop and maintain Android components in Java/Kotlin (C++ is a plus)
Extend Android at the system level (System Services, HALs, SDK extensions)
Write unit and UI tests to ensure robustness, reliability, and performance
Diagnose and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and UI/UX issues
Contribute to architectural decisions and design reviews




Stay up to date with emerging technologies and incorporate best practices
Guide junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team
Work in an Agile (Scrum/SAFe) and CI/CD environment using tools like Git, GitLab, and Jenkins

Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of professional experience in Android development
Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin; familiarity with C++ is a strong advantage
Deep understanding of AAOS architecture, HALs, Soong build system, and Android SDK
Experience with Android application and system-level architecture
Knowledge of object-oriented programming and design principles
Experience with unit testing, UI testing, and debugging tools
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and CI/CD pipelines
Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving attitude
Effective communication skills in business-fluent English
Ability to mentor junior team members and contribute to a cooperative team setting
