Key Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical quality control in a manufacturing setting, preferably in precision sheet metal, industrial enclosures, or heavy electrical equipment.
Inspect components such as enclosures, frames, busbars, heat sinks, brackets, and fasteners as per engineering drawings.
Perform dimensional inspections using vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, and basic CMM.
Read and understand engineering drawings and GD&T;.
Conduct in-process inspections during assembly and check weld quality, surface finish, and IP rating of BESS enclosures.
Check sheet-metal fabrication and powder-coating quality.
Identify and document non-conformances, raise quality alerts, and coordinate rejection/disposition.
Maintain calibration records for measuring instruments.
Support FMEA reviews and control-plan preparation for mechanical assemblies.




Coordinate with vendors on mechanical quality issues and support supplier audits.
Maintain inspection and NCR records.

Requirements:
3 +Years of experience in Mechanical Quality Control in manufacturing.
Valuable knowledge of sheet-metal fabrication, welding, powder coating, and IP ingress protection.
GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) preferred.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T;, and basic CAD drawing reading (AutoCAD or similar).
Good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and quality/NCR documentation.
Positive attention to detail, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
