Position: HMC Setter
Experience: 7–15 Years

Location: Coimbatore

Job Responsibilities
Set and operate HMC (Horizontal Machining Centre) machines as per production requirements.
Read and understand engineering drawings, GD&T;, and machining specifications.
Perform machine setting, tool selection, tool offset, work offset, and prove-out.
Set up fixtures, cutting tools, and workholding arrangements.
Handle CNC programs and make necessary offset/program corrections.
Ensure dimensional accuracy using Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, and other measuring instruments.
Identify and troubleshoot machining, tooling, and setting-related issues.
Maintain required quality, productivity, and production targets.
Conduct first-piece inspection and ensure consistent component quality.




Follow safety procedures, 5S, and company standards.

Required Skills
Robust experience in HMC machine setting and production.
Positive knowledge of Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls.
Knowledge of cutting tools, machining parameters, fixtures, and tooling.
Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T.;
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Experience in component manufacturing / precision machining is preferred.

Qualification

ITI / Diploma – Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
