We are seeking an experienced Legal Head to oversee our Legal & Liaison department. The ideal candidate will have at least 20 years of experience in legal affairs and a proven track record of managing a team of legal professionals. The Legal Head will be responsible for providing legal guidance and support to the organization, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and managing all legal matters.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and implement legal strategies and policies to protect the organization’s interests.
Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of legal issues, including contracts, regulatory compliance, and litigation.
Manage a team of legal professionals, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
Represent the organization in legal proceedings and negotiations with external parties.
Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may affect the organization and ensure compliance.
Collaborate with other departments to address legal issues and provide legal support as needed.
Oversee the drafting and review of legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and policies.
Lead and mentor a team of legal specialists, providing guidance and support as needed
Build and maintain robust relationships with external legal counsel, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders
10.Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations related to real estate and ensure compliance
Key competency and skills :
Bachelor’s degree in Law; master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 20 years of experience in legal affairs, with at least 8+ years in a leadership role.
Robust knowledge of real estate laws and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
