Job Description – EHS Officer

Job Overview

We are looking for an EHS Officer to ensure a protected working setting by monitoring plant safety, conducting inspections, identifying hazards, and supporting compliance with EHS procedures and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections of EHS equipment, emergency systems, and safety facilities.
Conduct regular Safety Rounds across the plant and identify unsafe acts and conditions.
Monitor FOC/ETO operations and ensure adherence to prescribed safety procedures.
Observe and monitor process safety during manufacturing operations.
Identify hazards and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with safety procedures.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety awareness programs, and emergency drills.
Support investigation of incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
Maintain EHS inspection reports, checklists, incident records, and other safety documentation.




Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, QA, and other departments for effective implementation of safety measures.
Ensure compliance with applicable EHS policies, SOPs, and statutory requirements.

Qualification & Experience
Education: Any Graduate with ADIS (Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety) certification.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in EHS/Safety, preferably in API, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, or Manufacturing industries.
Positive knowledge of industrial safety, process safety, PPE, emergency response, work permits, and hazard identification.
Good communication, observation, coordination, and reporting skills.

Preferred Skills
Knowledge of EHS documentation and statutory compliance.
Ability to conduct safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
Proactive approach towards workplace safety and risk prevention.

Pay: Up to ₹200,000.00 per year
