Loan Settlement & Trade Management
Oversee all bank loan settlements for assigned issuers across primary and secondary markets.
Manage open trades with counterparties and agents to ensure timely execution and closure.
Monitor and drive settlement lifecycle from trade capture to completion.
Maintain and track weekly open trade reports and settlement status.
Cash & Operational Management
Manage cash positioning across warehouses and funds ahead of settlement deadlines.
Coordinate funding requirements to ensure seamless settlement execution.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with trading desks, legal teams, vendors, and external clients to facilitate loan settlements.
Liaise with third-party vendors to resolve settlement-related queries and discrepancies.
Documentation & Legal Coordination
Review syndicated credit agreements with a focus on transfer mechanics and confidentiality provisions.
Draft, review, and interpret key loan documents, including:
LMA standard documents
Trade confirmations
Assignment agreements
Participation agreements
Proceeds letters
Cash collateral agreements
Multilateral netting agreements
Process NDAs in coordination with legal and trading teams.
Risk Management & Issue Resolution
Identify and escalate issues related to trade economics, documentation, fees, or settlement delays.
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal control procedures.
Reporting & Analytics
Generate and analyze key metrics and MIS reports for front-office stakeholders.
Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on trade pipelines and settlement performance.
Portfolio Management
Manage a diverse portfolio of loan trades across multiple business lines.
Drive initiatives to reduce settlement timelines and improve operational efficiency.
Robust understanding of loan markets (primary & secondary, par & distressed).
Familiarity with LMA/LSTA documentation standards.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.
Experience working in buy-side operations, loan servicing, or credit operations.
Knowledge of syndicated loan lifecycle and settlement platforms.
