The Hospital Attender is responsible for assisting patients and the nursing team with basic patient-care and support activities while ensuring cleanliness, safety, comfort, and proper movement of patients within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities
Assist patients in moving from one department to another, including wheelchair and stretcher transfers.
Assist nurses in shifting and positioning patients safely.
Help patients with basic non-clinical needs as instructed by the nursing staff.
Assist in transferring patients during admission, discharge, investigations, and procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and readiness of wheelchairs, stretchers, and other patient-transfer equipment.
Support nurses and other hospital staff in routine patient-care activities as instructed.
Accompany patients to departments such as laboratory, radiology, casualty, OPD, OT, and other areas when required.
Assist in shifting patients safely during emergencies.




Ensure that patient belongings and required documents are handled carefully while transferring patients.
Maintain proper communication and respectful behaviour with patients and bystanders.
Follow instructions given by nursing staff and supervisors.
Follow hospital safety, infection-control, and hygiene practices.
Maintain patient confidentiality and respect patient privacy.
Report any patient-related concern or unusual observation immediately to the nursing staff.
Maintain punctuality, discipline, and proper uniform at all times.
Assist in other non-clinical hospital activities assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications
Minimum 10th / 12th standard qualification preferred.
Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
