Job Purpose

To manage end-to-end merchant payment processing and settlement operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant settlement of merchant transactions across POS, QR, E-commerce (Payment Gateway), UPI, and card acquiring channels. The role is responsible for settlement reconciliation, exception handling, merchant servicing, process controls, and operational risk management.

Key Responsibilities

Payment Processing & Settlement Operations
Manage end-to-end merchant settlement processes across acquiring channels including POS, QR, UPI, E-commerce, and Payment Gateway transactions.
Ensure timely and accurate settlement of merchant funds as per agreed TATs and contractual obligations.
Monitor settlement cycles, payout schedules, and funding activities.

· Knowledge of payment network settlement processes across NPCI, Visa, Mastercard, American Express (Amex), and RuPay.
Validate settlement files, transaction batches, and merchant payout reports.
Coordinate with Vendors, payment networks, aggregators, and internal stakeholders for settlement processing.

Reconciliation & Exception Management
Perform daily reconciliation of acquiring transactions, settlements, and merchant payouts.




Investigate and resolve reconciliation exceptions, unmatched transactions, and settlement discrepancies.
Monitor outstanding exceptions and ensure timely closure.
Identify root causes of settlement failures and implement corrective actions.
Maintain settlement accuracy and minimize financial exposure.

Merchant Servicing & Query Resolution
Address merchant queries related to settlements, deductions, MDR, refunds, and transaction discrepancies.
Ensure timely resolution of merchant complaints and escalations.
Coordinate with Relationship Managers, Sales Teams, and Customer Service units for issue resolution.

MIS & Reporting
Prepare monthly settlement MIS reports.
Monitor key operational metrics such as:
Settlement TAT
Reconciliation accuracy
Failed settlements
Chargeback ratios
Merchant complaints
Analyze trends and recommend process improvements.

Required Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline.

Fresher to 1 years experience.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
