Design Engineer (Mechanical – SolidWorks)

About Innotec Power

Innotec Power designs and manufactures permanent magnet motors, generators, and electrification systems for OEM customers worldwide. We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who can quickly develop high-quality mechanical designs from concept through production.

The ideal candidate has strong SolidWorks experience, understands machining and manufacturing, and can create accurate designs with tight tolerances and complete production documentation.

Responsibilities
Design mechanical components and complete assemblies using SolidWorks.
Create detailed manufacturing drawings with GD&T;, dimensions, and tolerances.
Design housings, shafts, end covers, brackets, and other machined components.
Develop complete product assemblies and BOMs.
Ensure designs are optimized for machining, assembly, and manufacturing.
Work closely with production to resolve design and manufacturing issues.
Implement design improvements based on testing and customer feedback.
Maintain engineering documentation and revision control.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2–5 years of SolidWorks design experience.




Robust understanding of machining processes and mechanical design.
Experience creating complete mechanical assemblies and manufacturing drawings.
Ability to work accurately with tight tolerances.
Good understanding of fits, bearings, shafts, threads, seals, and standard mechanical components.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.

Preferred Experience
Experience designing motors, generators, gearboxes, pumps, or industrial machinery.
Knowledge of sheet metal, castings, and machined components.
Experience preparing BOMs and production documentation.
Familiarity with GD&T; and manufacturing tolerances.
Experience supporting prototype builds and production.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
