Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Production In-Charge – Sewing to manage day-to-day sewing operations, ensure production targets are achieved, and maintain required quality and efficiency standards. The candidate will be responsible for manpower planning, production monitoring, quality coordination, and timely completion of orders.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and monitor daily sewing production as per production schedules.
Achieve daily and monthly production targets while maintaining quality standards.
Allocate manpower and machines according to production requirements.
Monitor line efficiency, productivity, downtime, and production output.
Coordinate with Cutting, Quality, Finishing, Stores, and Production Planning teams.
Ensure proper machine settings, line balancing, and smooth production flow.
Identify production bottlenecks and take corrective actions to avoid delays.
Monitor sewing defects and coordinate with the Quality team for corrective actions.
Ensure proper use of materials, trims,



accessories, and production documents.
Maintain production records, reports, and daily performance data.
Train and guide operators, helpers, and line supervisors to improve productivity and quality.
Ensure workplace discipline, housekeeping, safety, and compliance with company procedures.
Minimize wastage, rework, rejection, and machine downtime.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity.
Ensure production is completed within the required quality, quantity, and delivery timelines.

Required Skills
Solid knowledge of garment sewing operations and production processes.
Positive understanding of line balancing, production planning, and productivity improvement.
Positive knowledge of sewing machines and common sewing defects.
Strong leadership and manpower management skills.
Good problem-solving and decision-making ability.
Ability to work under production pressure and meet deadlines.
Positive communication and coordination skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
