Network Security Engineer

Experience: 2–4 Years
Location: Ahmedabad

Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure and security solutions.
Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS.
Perform vulnerability assessments, security audits, and risk analysis.
Investigate, analyze, and respond to network security incidents.
Develop and implement network security policies, standards, and procedures.
Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and regulatory requirements.
Configure secure routing, switching, VLANs, ACLs, and network segmentation.
Manage remote access solutions and secure wireless networks.
Conduct security hardening of network devices, servers, and infrastructure.
Collaborate with system administrators and IT teams to implement secure network architectures.
Perform firmware upgrades, security patch management, and configuration backups.
Generate security reports, documentation, and recommendations for management.
Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.

Required SkillsTechnical Skills




Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Routing, and Switching.
Hands-on experience with firewalls such as Fortinet FortiGate, Palo Alto, Sophos, or Check Point.
Experience configuring VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN, Site-to-Site VPN).
Familiarity with endpoint security and antivirus solutions.
Knowledge of network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Wireshark).
Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture and network segmentation.
Experience with cloud network security (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is an advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
