Key Responsibilities
Machine Setup: Select, change, and align the correct punches and dies (tooling) for each job.
Programming: Input bending sequences, angles, dimensions, and material thickness into the CNC controller.
Material Handling: Load metal sheets onto the machine and position them accurately against back gauges.
Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical drawings, bend allowances, and engineering blueprints.
Quality Inspection: Use calipers, micrometers, protractors, and height gauges to check bend angles and dimensions.
First-Part Inspection: Run test pieces to verify setup accuracy before starting full production runs.
Maintenance: Perform daily machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and checking hydraulic fluid levels.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, use light curtains properly, and wear required PPE
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma, ITI certification, or a technical diploma in sheet metal fabrication.
Experience: Minimum 1–3 years operating CNC press brakes or bending machines.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with CNC controllers (e.g., Delem, Amada, Cybelec) and understanding of bend deductions.
Measurement Tools: High proficiency with precision measuring instruments.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long shifts and lift heavy metal sheets (up to 50 lbs / 23 kg)
Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
