Qualification
M.Ch Surgical Oncology
OR DrNB Surgical Oncology

Registration
Valid MMC / Maharashtra Medical Council Registration

Experience
Experienced candidates preferred
Candidates with independent surgical oncology experience will be given preference

Key Responsibilities
Conduct Surgical Oncology OPD consultations and manage IPD patients
Evaluate and manage patients with various benign and malignant tumors
Perform oncological surgeries as per expertise and hospital privileges
Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient care
Manage surgical oncology emergencies and post-operative complications
Coordinate with Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Radiology, Pathology, and Critical Care teams for multidisciplinary cancer management
Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, surgery, prognosis, and follow-up




Maintain accurate clinical documentation, operative notes, and discharge summaries
Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards

Skills Required
Solid clinical and surgical expertise in Surgical Oncology
Excellent operative and clinical decision-making skills
Positive communication and patient counselling abilities
Skilled, ethical, and patient-centric approach
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary oncology team
