Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the initiative to design, develop, and configure software applications while serving as the main liaison for project-related communications. This role requires overseeing the progress of application development, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the solutions align with project goals. The position demands proactive engagement in problem-solving and decision-making to drive the successful delivery of software products, while maintaining transparent and consistent communication across teams to facilitate smooth project execution.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Lead the planning and execution of software development activities to meet project timelines and quality standards.
Mentor and support junior team members to foster qualified growth and enhance team capabilities.
Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business objectives.
Skilled & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Spring Boot.
Strong knowledge of Java programming and object-oriented design principles.
Experience with RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
Familiarity with application configuration and deployment processes.
Ability to troubleshoot and optimize application performance.
Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Spring Boot.
This position is based at our M2B - STPI office.
A 15 years full time education is required.
