The Project Planner & controller is responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, coordinating planning activities, and ensuring timely completion of project milestones. This role works closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives and deliverables. This role provides insights and analysis to support project decision-making and budget control.
Preferred candidate profile
Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules (using tools like Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent).
Work with project teams to define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
Identify critical path activities, project risks, and mitigation strategies.
Coordinate with various departments to gather schedule inputs and monitor progress.
Track and report schedule performance metrics and project milestones.
Participate in project meetings and support project reporting requirements.
Conduct schedule risk analysis and recommend corrective actions when needed.
Ensure compliance with internal and external planning standards and procedures.
Monitor and control project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
Track project expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
Analyze cost variances and prepare regular financial and progress reports.
Support project risk management and change control processes.
Collaborate with planners and project managers to align cost and schedule data.
Ensure accurate and timely billing, cost allocation, and resource tracking.
Support project audits and ensure compliance with financial policies.
Maintain project documentation and reporting systems.
