Roles & Responsibilities:
Conduct inline, midline, and final garment inspections at vendor and factory locations.
Ensure products meet brand specifications, approved samples, and established quality standards.
Monitor production processes and proactively identify and communicate quality concerns to vendors and
internal stakeholders.
Prepare and maintain accurate inspection reports and related documentation in a timely manner.
Follow up with vendors on corrective actions and ensure quality improvements are effectively
implemented.
Identify and report defects, ensuring appropriate technical solutions are recommended and implemented.
Evaluate the quality of fabrics and trims against pre-production (PP) samples and approved standards
before production begins.
Collaborate closely with the Sourcing and Technical teams to resolve product and production-related
issues.
Coordinate with testing laboratories for garment and fabric testing whenever required.
Support vendor development by providing feedback and training on quality standards and buyer
requirements.
Proactively escalate critical quality issues to the QA Head or Management for timely resolution.
Key Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in apparel quality control, preferably in a buying office or export house.
Solid understanding of garment construction, sewing techniques, and finishing.
Familiarity with quality standards (AQL, 4-Point System, etc.).
Valuable communication and coordination skills.
Willingness to travel regularly to factory locations.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficient in using MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Degree in Textile / Apparel / Fashion Technology is preferred.
Working on saturdays are required as per business needs.
